ESEA ADV S42 playoff bracket set
With teams now knowing their pathway to ESL Challenger League S43, teams can harness their focus on the matchups inside the double-elimination bracket. The team that earns first-place inside the playoffs will qualify themselves for next season’s ECL, while the remaining top four teams will be invited to the relegation tournament for a second opportunity of advancement.
South American lineup Infinity enter the bracket as the #1 seed after their league-best 11-1 win-loss record, giving them a claim as favorites to advance. Joining them on the top half of the bracket at #4 is Snakes Den, who are red-hot with a win-streak of nine. With Infinity even hotter at eleven-straight, it will be interesting to see if these two collide late in the bracket.
The ten-win giants on the bottom half of the bracket are #2 Reign and #3 Eros, who look to be favored for a deep playoff run based on their regular season performance. Of course, there are twelve other teams looking to steal the spotlight from these four. Luckily, we won’t have to wait long for action to kick off, as the BO3 games start tomorrow night.
