Rio Major Champions Stage sells out in 90 minutes

Tickets are still available for the two stages prior.

Rio Major host ESL announced earlier today on Twitter that the final stage of the Major, the Champions Stage, sold out. This came just an hour-and-a-half after opening ticket sales to the public.

Although the Champions stage at the Jeunesse Arena is booked up, fans can enhance their Major viewing experience by purchasing available tickets for the Challenger Stage (Oct 31-Nov 3) and Legend Stage (Nov 5-8), which takes place at the Riocentro Hall 6.

Starting tomorrow at 02:00PM, fans will be able to purchase tickets to the “IEM Fan Fest” featuring famed Brazilian Twitch streamer Alexandre “Gaules” Chiqueta. Participating fans will be able to watch the matches together with Gaules, enjoy food and drinks, and win prizes.

The continued expansion of the IEM Rio Major experience comes as a response to the alarming support the Brazilian community has offered the tournament organizer since announcing the Major. Besides opening the earlier stages to the crowd, ESL are also offering a 360-degree center stage for the live audience, a first in ESL’s history. More information on the Major can be found here.
