Third EU team headed to Frag 17

The youthful Germans follow BLVKHVND and Apeks in signing up for the quintessential American LAN.

Dust2.us can confirm that Berlin International Gaming (BIG) will be sending their youth team, BIG Academy, to Philadelphia this September to compete in Fragadelphia 17. The German organization will join BLVKHVND and Apeks in the event.

The tournament organized by Nerd Street Gamers has been getting more and more international representation. The last edition of Fragadelphia welcomed the Norwegians from Apeks Rebels and the Brazilians from oNe. This time around, with a little over a week to the start of the Last Chance qualifier, there are already three foreign teams confirmed to play in the competition.

The BIG Academy roster is currently #61 in the HLTV rankings, after not playing since the end of the WePlay Academy League Season 5, where the team finished third. The squad is coming to America with a recent change in the line-up due to Nils "k1to" Gruhne being called up to the main BIG roster.

Fragadelphia 17 is building up to be one of the biggest events of the year for North American Counter-Strike. The tournament will run from September 8th, starting with the Last Chance qualifier, and will end on September 11th. Players will fight for the $100,000 prize pool and for bragging rights against non-NA teams.

Nice to see some international teams coming to NA for events, can't wait for a random ecl mix to beat them all though!
