stamina is back at the helm after departing Strife at the start of July

Limitless announce new roster

This stacked squad will have their sights firmly set on promotion to ECL.

Limitless have revealed their new lineup for ESEA Advanced Season 42, quickly getting their teeth back into Counter-Strike after parting ways with their former lineup a couple of weeks ago following a disappointing run through ESEA Advanced Season 41 playoffs.

Heading this new-look Limitless side is none other than Bobby "stamina" Eitrem, the former in-game leader for Strife who notably captained the team to a first-place finish at Fragadelphia 16 to take home the lion's share of the $60,000 prize pool. Aside from this, the 23-year-old also helped lead his squad to two top-four placements in ESL Challenger League alongside making an appearance at ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference back in June – the organization's first and only time competing at an international event since their entry into CS:GO a year ago.

Also joining Limitless' books is Kamron "kmrn" Manii whose most recent venture saw him a part of ex-UYU for four months, with the side initially enjoying a fair amount of success during their campaign in ESEA Advanced Season 40. This saw the team finish the regular season with a solid 10-4 record before going on to place fifth in relegation to clinch a spot in ECL Season 41. Despite this, the top flight wasn't kind to ex-UYU, and the roster was soon relegated straight back down to Advanced after failing to win a single series through the whole season.

Providing the bulk of the new Limitless team is the former X13 quartet of Josh "JBa" Barutt, Matthew "scar" Bruni, Max "Makzwell" Sparrey, and analyst Ashlynn "Valkenn" Brady. The four all recently departed their former home after an unsuccessful bid in ESEA Advanced Season 41 playoffs. This saw the squad end up finishing 9th-12th after bowing out in the second round with losses to ONET4P and Philadelphia Liberty.

Rounding out the roster is Sean "Coastal" Thompson as head coach. The 23-year-old starts his new journey behind the Limitless side after being coach of Unjustified throughout ESL Challenger League Season 41. Unable to go toe-to-toe with the heavyweights of ECL, Unjustified soon found themselves being sent to relegation with defeats there to timbermen and Detonate subsequently sentencing the squad to a season back down in ESEA Advanced.

Limitless now field the following roster:

  • Bobby "stamina" Eitrem

  • Kamron "kmrn" Manii

  • Josh "JBa" Barutt

  • Max "Makzwell" Sparrey

  • Matthew "scar" Bruni

  • Sean "Coastal" Thompson (Coach)

  • Ashlynn "Valkenn" Brady (Analyst)

Limitless will now be awaiting the start of ESEA Advanced Season 42, with the division set to get started on August 16th.
