SolGoat takes medical leave

The long-time Brazen player is set to step down for the foreseeable future.

Max "SolGoat" Wallace has announced that he will be temporarily taking a step back from Brazen's starting roster and CS:GO in general as he recovers from an Acute Kidney Injury (AKI).

Explaining his medical situation via TwitLonger, the 23-year-old stated that he began to suffer with AKI early on Sunday and, as such, has spent the past few days in the hospital. Fortunately, the IGL has since been discharged and is hopeful that he will be able to make a full recovery while on the sidelines.

SolGoat has been a part of the Brazen squad for just over a year where, during his tenure, he has averaged a 0.86 rating across 27 maps. The side's most notable achievement with SolGoat at the helm was during their ESEA Premier Season 39 Relegation run when the roster narrowly missed out on promotion to ESL Challenger League Season 40 after finishing in fifth place.

With SolGoat temporarily out of action, Brazen now have:

  • Dacoda "pengnax" St Louis

  • Isaac "Izik" Zeigler

  • Cameron "legacy" Parkhurst

  • Max "SolGoat" Wallace (Inactive)

Brazen are currently competing in ESEA Advanced Season 41 with a 1-0 record after beating Isolate in the opening matchup. They are now set to face off against Cyberstorm on May 1st at 09:00PM where they'll be looking to keep up their good start to the season.
