The well-traveled player is set to make NA his home

Strife bring in European reinforcements

After a fractious divorce with cxzi, Strife have brought in the Estonian Mr. Worldwide.

Strife have completed an overhaul of their roster, bringing in veteran Estonian player Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar while Christian "crisby" Schmitt has left the team and has been replaced by Anton "ToH1o" Georgiev.

The addition of fejtZ comes after a leaked conversation published by James "JAM" H. in late March showed Bobby "stamina" Eitrem in preliminary conversations with fejtZ.

fejtZ is best known for being something of a globe trotter, having played with the most nationalities of any player in CS:GO history including multiple brief stays with North American teams ex-Splyce and Denial. His most high-profile team in recent years was SMASH but he has since had a lean period in his career with his most recent teams, Adaptation, Finest, and SC, failing to pick up much traction in the competitive scene.

fejtZ joins Strife after the team found a fairly high degree of success for a North American team of their stature; winning Fragadelphia 16 and clinching a fourth-place finish in ESL Challenger League Season 40. The team have been been on a lookout for a stable fifth following the removal of Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk from the lineup following his alleged inebriation during an ECL Season 40 match.

As for crisby, stamina told Dust2.us that he made the decision to step down from the team after receiving a European offer. Additionally, the time zone difference was particularly brutal for crisby as he is in a committed relationship and has a young child not yet of school age. To fill crisby's spot on the team, Strife have brought in ToH1o, a veteran Bulgarian coach, who previously coached Outlaws, Windigo, and SMASH where he worked alongside fejtZ.

Regarding this two additions, stamina told Dust2.us:

I’m extremely excited to work with both Anton and Kristjan. When looking at the talent pool in NA, for both openings, we didn’t feel there were many great options to fill the positions left by both crisby and cxzi. We want to be a top NA competitor and we believe with these two additions we can do that. We have a unique opportunity being able to work under Strife. With that being the case I really wanted to make sure that this time around we were building a roster that could really push to the next level, really using all of our resources to the best of our ability.

Strife are now:

  • United States Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan

  • Canada David "J0LZ" Jolin

  • United States Bobby "stamina" Eitrem

  • Canada Paul "aris" Wilson

  • Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar

  • Anton "ToH1o" Georgiev (Coach)

Strife have some time until the start of ECL Season 41 run, with their first match set to be against BHOP on May 25th.
