Extra Salt to field Grim and junior for FunSpark ULTI 2021
Extra Salt are set to field Michael "Grim" Wince and Paytyn "junior" Johnson as stand-ins during the FunSpark ULTI 2021 finals next week.
The addition of the duo, formerly on Liquid and FURIA's benches until 48 hours ago, follows a report by Danish "Nohte" Allana of HLTV.org that Complexity was "well underway" to acquire the lineup, suggesting the organizations are in the closing stages of the acquisition.
Extra Salt qualified to the online event via FunSpark ULTI 2020 all the way back in April 2020 with three former teammate: Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek, Josh "oSee" Ohm, and Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado. Since then, the squad has undergone a number of changes and should the Complexity deal go through, this even would presumably mark their final appearance under the Extra Salt brand.
