After briefly returning after briefly retiring, Jonji looks to briefly retire again

Jonji returns to inactivity; cantwinalan bring in mitch

I bet cantwinalan really dig their new players.

Jonathan "Jonji" Carey has announced over social media that he has departed cantwinalan, who recently parted ways with BlackOut. In the tweet, Jonji stated that he seeks to focus on schoolwork, his own personal health, and working.

With the MDL regular season underway, cantwinalan quickly brought in Mitch "m1tch" Semago, who formerly played for Dignitas and was set to play with ex-Dignitas prior to the roster's dissolution. The team had previously used him as a stand-in for the Canadian for the second ECS Challenger Cup qualifier.

Looking to find an organization and possibly even win a LAN, cantwinalan's roster is now:

  • Canada Connor "CONNOR93" Glover
  • United States Chad "Oderus" Miller
  • United States Collin "wrath" McSweegan
  • United States Sebastian "seb" Bucki
  • United States Mitch "mitch" Semago

Dust2.us also knows that former Dignitas coach Joshua "shinobi" Abastado has been helping the team in the coach position recently, though it is not sure if that arrangement will continue.

The team's first MDL with mitch was a success, notching a 16-7 win against ETHEREAL to move them to 2-0 on the season.
