ESEA Season 29 announced

The Mountain Dew League returns with Pro League spots up for grabs.

As the current MDL season winds down with the All-Star Game, ESEA has announced details regarding the upcoming season of ESEA, which is set to feature Pro League spots in MDL.

Registration is currently open until September 3rd, with the league fee refund deadline just three days later on September 6th. Moveups will be announced next month on August 20th, with the season officially starting on September 10th.

Bravado claimed victory over Vision in this season's MDL grand finals. As this season is a training season, no Pro League spots were awarded. The last season to award Pro League spots was Season 27, where eUnited qualified for EPL Season 8. With the training season passed, Season 29 will be a promotion season, with one direct promotion available as well as two regulation slots.

While MDL Playoffs have been wrapped up, Advanced playoffs will kick off soon, with the first matches set to play out on July 30th.

More information can be found in ESEA's official announcement. Registration for Season 29 is currently available on their website. ESL Pro League Season 8, which will align with ESEA Season 29, is set to begin on September 18th.
