Zellsis and oderus to play in MDL S28 All-Star Game
With the MDL All-Star Game set to play out tomorrow evening, Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro has announced over social media that he will be playing in the showmatch due to another player not being able to play in it. Zellsis previously played on Team freakazoid in last season's All-Star Game, where his team fell to Team steel 2-1.
Dust2.us has learned that the absent player is Peter "ptr" Gurney of Dignitas. Dignitas have been signed up for the second MSI MGA qualifier, which overlaps with the MDL All-Star Game.
In addition to ptr, Dust2.us has learned that Tyson "TenZ" Ngo will not be playing in the All-Star Game. As we reported earlier, the Canadian player is currently playing with Dignitas and will be absent with ptr due to the qualifier.
Due to the MSI MGA qualifier, Jake "kaboose" McDonald, Ricky "floppy" Kemery, and Anthony "gMd" Guimond were all unavailable to replace TenZ. As a result, BlackOut's Chad "oderus" Miller will play in the showmatch after raking in a total of 30 votes.
