StarSeries i-League Season 6 qualifier team list and schedule revealed
StarLadder have unveiled the list of invited teams that will be participating in the Americas qualifier for a spot at StarSeries i-League Season 6, with a total of eight teams set to begin battle later today for one of four spots in the playoffs.
Two groups of four teams will play through a GSL-style double elimination best-of-three group stage. The four teams who survive the group stage will face the invited EPL sides of Ghost, NRG, compLexity, and eUnited in the quarterfinals.

The schedule for the event is notable as no team will play more than one best-of-three match a day, a contrast to recent qualifiers where some teams had to play through a marathon of matches in a day to attempt to qualify. The entirety of Group A will play out first, beginning with the two opening matches on day 1 and the winners' final and elimination matchup played out on day 2.
The decider match for Group A is given a day of its own before Group B commences, with the playoffs beginning three days later. The winner of the grand final will earn the sole qualifier spot for the Americas region at StarSeries Season 6 Finals in Kiev.
