MDL Week 5 Recap - Forty Six and 2 go Zero and 7
Week 5 of ESEA's Mountain Dew League has come to a close, with Vireo.pro taking a decisive lead, followed by Bravado.
Vireo picked up two additional victories this week over Really Old People and Levitate, while Bravado continued their consistency by taking down Squirtle Squad and XFORCE. Freedom 35, who were tied for first last week, did not take part in the action this week and thus fall to fourth place, just behind Dignitas, who remain undefeated in the season.
Swole Patrol added nine more points to their resume, taking down ex-Atmosphere, XFORCE, and Prospects to move up the standings by six places. Vikings continued to be fairly impressive, taking maps off of The Pioneers and Propsects, and sit near the middle of the pack. Prospects themselves didn't have the best week, but did manage to secure a win against The Entourage, putting them at 2-8.
The new Pioneers roster as well as the newly signed Velocity had mediocre weeks, while the new lineups of Forty Six and 2, Really Old People, and XFORCE all failed to win their initial set of matches.
