DavCost and Spirit are through to the Grand Final

eUnited overcome by the Spirit

The last North American hope has bowed out of the tournament in Leicester.

eUnited's run at the ESEA MDL Season 27 Global Challenge has come to and end at the hands of the Russian/Ukrainian squad of Spirit.

Things started off on Dust2, and despite taking the pistol and a 5-1 lead for the North Americans, the first half somehow ended being all Spirit. eUnited were similarly unable to muster a consistent offense on the Terrorist-side, and Spirit took the map 16-10.

Sadly for eUnited, things transpired much the same on Cache. Despite leaping out to an 8-1 lead on the Counter-Terrorist side of Cache, the half would eventually end 10-5. After sides switched, Spirit proved to have eUnited's number on their own CT-side, completely stymying any attempts at offense made by the North Americans. The map would end 16-12 in favor of the CIS side, seeing them claim the series as well.
