Armada acquire Etherian organization and CS squad
Armada have announced the acquisition of the Etherian Esports organization and all their assets, effectively immediately. This means that the team that was signed by the latter composed of pieces from Etherian and Atmosphere will represent Armada going forward.
Dust2.us knows that Cr3ate, the former owner of Etherian, will retain a partial ownership position in the combined Armada organization. Armada is owned by Riley "Dizzaye" Long, the brother of Dignitas' Logan "Voltage" Long.
Armada's newly-acquired roster is as follows:
Jonathan "Jonji" Carey
Joshua "Hunter" Madore- Gage "Infinite" Green
- Ian "motm" Hardy
- Jack "xCeeD" Holiman
- Teric "Bibby" Ingram (Coach)
It is thought that the team will play in ESEA Main next season, as the MDL spot that was Etherian's last season will be used by Anthony "Vanity" Malaspina's Gorilla Gang in Season 28.
Dust2.us has been told that Armada's previous squad, featuring Addison "zecK" Gorzeck, has been released, a fact zecK quickly tweeted about. The team recently placed fourth in the Gfinity Winter Series, and top sixteen in ESEA Main Season 27.
