Eight teams invited to first stage of StarSeries i-League Season 5 qualifier
StarLadder have announced the format and teams for the qualifier to their upcoming Season 5 event in Kiev.
The invite list is ESL Pro League heavy, with Dignitas, Rogue, compLexity, Splyce and Ghost snagging spots. The rest of the list is filled out by MDL sides eUnited and Swole Patrol, as well as rising Brazilian package oNe.

The first stage of the qualifier will play out in two GSL groups, from which the top two teams in each group will advance. From there, they will be joined by four more invited sides.
When all is said and done, only one North American team will advance from the qualifier to the main event. Currently HellRaisers are the only invited team that has been announced by StarLadder.
