ESEA announces details of Season 28

The end of Season 27 will conclude in early May with the Global Challenge

ESEA has announced the details of season 28 of the ESEA League on their website, and have opened registration for new teams who wish to compete. Registration for new teams will be available until May 14th. Currently registered teams will have to wait until move ups are announced to register for season 28.

The move ups for the next season are set to be announced on April 24th.

ESEA are currently hosting their first ever MDL All-Star match with fan voted players competing in a best of three game. Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir and Joshua "steel" Nissan were the two most voted players, and were chosen as captains of each of the teams.

ESEA has also recently overhauled Rank S, going back to a monthly system and adding "money matches" which will add or remove prize money to a personal record as players win and lose games. At the end of the month, players can cash out based on the amount of money they won, including extra bonuses to the top three players of the month.

Further information about the league, along with more dates for those who wish to play, can be found on the news post. New teams who wish to register can do so here.

ESEA will not be as successful due to the relaunch of FPL, there are far fewer people in Rank S and many less active ones, FPL has more pro’s and MDL players in their league making it more diverse and interesting
