Cloud9 look to secure the services of the Counter-Strike veteran

Xizt in talks with Cloud9 - Report

The Swedish IGL is set to head for North America in the latest transfer gossip.

According to a report from HLTV, Cloud9 are in negotiations with NiP to sign veteran IGL Richard "Xizt" Landstrom. He would be set to replace Jake "Stewie2K" Yip on the roster, with the American's move to SK looking increasingly imminent.

Xizt ended his five-year association with NiP after Dennis "dennis" Edman joined the roster last month. Since then he has been on the bench, and it would seem Cloud9 have pegged him as a good addition to their side.

Former SK player Epitacio "TACO" de Melo had been looking to join Cloud9, but it appears he has gone in a different direction and headed for Liquid.

Assuming previous reports on the future of the American Major Champions come to fruition, the new Cloud9 roster is set to look like:

  • United States Timothy "autimatic" Ta
  • United States Tarik "tarik" Celik
  • United States Will "RUSH" Wierzba
  • United States Josh "jdm64" Marzano
  • Sweden Richard "Xizt" Landstrom
