CPH Games: Rogue get Tricked; fall 2-0

A 2-0 loss to Tricked in the Round of 16 ends their Main tournament hopes.

In the first game of the day in Copenhagen, which was rescheduled from last night, Rogue took on the Danish side of Tricked. The winner of the match would head to the quarterfinal, where a final best-of-three would then send them to the Main tournament.

Cobblestone was the first map up, with Tricked running the show 11-4 up thanks to youngster Lucas "Lukki" Pilheden. Despite a late rally from the Spencer "Hiko" Martin's side, Rogue were unable to capitalize on their chances and lost the map 16-9.

Inferno was the second map, and Rogue kicked off the game completely in control. With Casper "cadiaN" Møller leading the charge, the Americans were up 9-6 at the half. A second half rally from Tricked forced overtime, before the Danish side eventually got the better of Rogue and claimed the map 22-18.

This result, if accepting the option, sees Rogue sent to the B-tournament where they will grind out for the secondary prizes on offer.
