oNe and Ghost advance to IEM Sydney Closed Qualifier
In the semifinals of the IEM Sydney North America Open Qualifier, Ghost took down Bravado and oNe took down Splyce to advance to the closed qualifier and will face off against six other teams for a spot at the event in Australia.
The first map of the best of three between Ghost and Bravado, Cobblestone, was quite a close affair, with a huge performance by Matthew "Wardell" Bowman to secure the map for his team. The second map was a lot easier for the North American side however, with Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik and Tramaine "stan1ey" Stanley putting in most of the work.

The other best of three between oNe and Splyce was much closer, with the first map going into overtime. AWPer Pedro "Maluk3" Campos put his team over the edge however, allowing oNe to edge Cache 19-16. Despite a big performance by in-game leader David "DAVEY" Stafford, Splyce could not take the second map either, losing 14-16.
