Oceanus part ways with castro and KmZ

Changes have come to the French Canadian lineup after a decent start to the season.

Dust2.us has learned that Oceanus have parted ways with Wayne "castro" Einarsson and Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes. The change comes after Oceanus were seen fielding Sean "Inseaniac" Morrison and Michael "miLLe" St-Pierre in the second DreamHack Open March qualifier.

David "J0LZ" Jolin told Dust2.us that KmZ left the lineup after letting it be known that he didn't want to play with the team anymore. As for castro, J0LZ said he was removed from the lineup for an undisclosed reason however, the team's first round exit in the first DreamHack Open March qualifier precipitated his removal. The team recently had to forfeit their ESEA Premier Season 36 match against Rise last week due to castro being unavailable.

While Oceanus are still in the process of rebuilding their lineup, J0LZ told Dust2.us miLLe is a likely permanent addition to the team.

Oceanus are now:

  • Canada David "J0LZ" Jolin
  • Canada Alex "vek" Voynov
  • Canada Cedric "Melio" Perrault

Oceanus are currently facing off against Extra Salt and are fielding KmZ and miLLe. As for the DreamHack Open March Closed Qualifier the team will be fielding castro and KmZ for the first best of three due to scheduling conflicts. After that, miLLe and Inseaniac will finish out the event. Oceanus currently have a 3-2 record in ESEA Premier Season 36.
