Wilky and AtomiK join ImPerium on trial

The new formulation will look to get their first win of ESEA Premier Season 36 against RBG.

ImPerium manager Nick "Noot" Samodurov has announced that Reece "Wilky" Wilkerson and Devin "AtomiK" Ferrell will be joining the team on trial for the next two weeks.

The additions bring ImPerium back to full strength, at least temporarily, following the dismissals of Eric "Ryze" Brown and Dave "seziwana" Schrage a few days ago.

Wilky joins from Levitate, who are dealing with roster turmoil of their own after losing John  "yohan" Lee and William "rin" McGraw to SKDC, along with the departure of coach Donald "voo" Parkhurst. Levitate as a whole suffered mightily in their losses to Secret Club and High Coast, but Wilky was one of their top performers, along with the departed duo.

AtomiK comes to ImPerium by way of HeadShotKings, who are currently 2-2 in Advanced, and have recently had decent showings in Cash Cups and the qualifier for DreamHack Open January. This will be his first time playing at the Premier/MDL level.

ImPerium are now:

  • United States Richie "sherps" Sherpa
  • United States Johnny "JDubs" Wu
  • United States Soham "valens" Chowdhury
  • United States Reece "Wilky" Wilkerson (Trial)
  • United States Devin "AtomiK" Ferrell (Trial)

The new-look team will make their debut against RBG on Tuesday, where they will be looking to secure their first win of the season. The match will also be RBG's ESEA Premier Season 36 debut.
