The short-lived lineup exits MDL before playing a single match

Swole Patrol disband

The short-lived lineup made minor waves in the scene by winning numerous one-off cash cups.

Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro has announced the disbandment of Swole Patrol, with the team's dissolution coming three weeks after they revived the Swole Patrol name.

The lineup came together in mid-July as numerous members of the lineup returned to CS:GO  after trying to find their fortunes in VALORANT. Although the roster enjoyed initial success in the leadup to ESEA MDL Season 35, winning a number of ESEA and Mythic's cash cups, the team were plagued with roster instability as Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor was replaced by Will "dazzLe" Loafman while Maxim "wippie" Shepelev was brought in after Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado left to join Chaos.

The final nail in the coffin for the team seemingly came on September 15th, as coach Ian "Immi" Harding announced that the team's attendance in IEM New York Online was in question due to the rules stipulating they would be unable to use wippie in place of MarKE because of a roster lock put in place after the Closed Qualifier.

Swole Patrol were:

  • United States Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro
  • United States Gage "Infinite" Green
  • United States Austin "Cooper-" Abadir
  • United States Will "dazzLe" Loafman
  •  Maxim "wippie" Shepelev
  • Ian "Immi" Harding (Coach)

Dust2.us reached out to the team regarding their plans for the future with Zellsis stating he is unsure if he will stay in CS:GO or move back to VALORANT while dazzLe stated he would make his plans known in the coming days. The remainder of the lineup have not responded to a request for comment at the time of publication.
