Find Your Grind announce $450,000 esports scholarship fund

In a newly formed partnership with ReKTGlobal, the fund aims to encourage youth involvement in esports.

Find Your Grind, a foundation started in 2015 to encourage youth to explore their passions and expand their horizons, have partnered with ReKTGlobal to bring forth an annual $450,000 scholarship fund for esports. ReKTGlobal most recently made headlines with their acquisition of Rogue, and label themselves as a leading esports infrastructure company.

Their Esports Scholarship Program is open to US residents, with the website stating that eligibility isn't based on a student's grades or skills in a game, but instead takes its cues from the individual's story and personal aspirations. The awarded funds can be used towards the purchase of licenses or permits, college tuition, or be put towards the purchase of equipment that one may need.

The program also aims to assist young entrepeneurs in the space, and offers those who look for an opportunity in the technical side of esports a chance to receive mentorship from industry leaders. As young talent blossoms in North America, Counter-Strike loving students can apply or nominate others on Find Your Grind's website, with more details on the scholarship to be released in the future.
