Marsborne and Chicken Coop set to clash in FRAG TAP Reloaded finals

After two days of non-stop NA CS action at the TAP Esports Center in Philadelphia, only two teams remain to face off in the final: Marsborne and Chicken Coop. Both entered the event as strong contenders to reach the final, and both lived up to the billing as they have a combined map record of 20-2 with no overtime needed.

The only two map losses came when the two teams played in the upper-bracket final, where Chicken Coop came out on top. Now, Marsborne have a chance for revenge to take the title.

Chicken Coop's run began with a flawless 4-0 group stage beating TEMPR, Celestial, NXG, and Reign above to reach the playoffs. Once there, they benefited massively from the presence of Danish stand-in Frederik "Fessor" Sørensen, who helped propel them to 2-0 victories over F5 and SportsBetExpert. After an impressive upset 2-0 over Marsborne, Chicken Coop reached the final.

Marsborne's run started similarly, with them going 4-0 in the group stage with wins over Aura, Factor, FRZ Unit, and NineFly. In the playoffs, they beat LAG and Reign Above 2-0. Though they lost to Chicken Coop, they quickly recovered in the lower bracket with a 2-0 win over a SportsBetExpert with a stand-in.
