Passion UA part ways with assistant coach

Passion UA have announced the departure of assistant coach Luca "Munstur" Ioanițiu after a year with the team.

The Romanian was with Passion through two unique iterations of the squad, starting with its all-Ukrainian side, which transitioned to the former Complexity core. Munstur spent the entirety of his tenure at PUA under head coach Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen, who joined in April 2025.

Three months after Munstur was signed, the Complexity core was added. Then, in December, Passion UA competed at the StarLadder Budapest Major, where they made Stage 3 before being taken down just one match short of the playoffs.

In 2026, Passion have had a much rougher time. They are 1-10 at tier-one events, with their only win coming against Liquid in the online stage of ESL Pro League Season 23.

Passion UA's misery was compounded by missing the IEM Cologne Major. They recently ended their season early, with sources stating that the org is looking to sell the team, according to HLTV.
