Grizz and WUMBO rise on latest HLTV Prospects list

HLTV just released the May edition of their top 50 Prospects list. Though no new NA talent has been added, both Adam "Grizz" Golden and Chance "WUMBO" Boyer placed higher than last month.

Though the recently united duo have not played much since the April list, their one outing was hugely impactful. The new Marsborne squad had its debut at FRAG 20 and made a deep run despite their inexperience together.

Grizz had a fantastic performance that helped propel Marsborne to a victory over M80 and a fourth-place finish. He averaged a 1.17 rating over the whole event and a 1.40 against M80. This helped Grizz jump six spots from #27 to #21.

While WUMBO was not as strong as Grizz, he held his own in several key matches. He ended the event as the third-best player on Marsborne with a 0.96 rating. WUMBO's showing helped him rise from #50 to #48 due to his relatively unknown status last month.
