Check out CS2's impressive performance improvements with the AnimGraph 2 update

Valve released a game-changing update this week.

CS2 players were treated to a big update when Valve moved its AnimGraph 2 project out of beta and into the main game.

With the addition of AG2, many players noticed the game feels crisper, similar to CS:GO.

X user eugenio8a8 posted his findings regarding packets sent and received pre- and post-update, showing that the packet size from sender and receiver has reduced.

The graphs posted show that the packets from both sender and receiver have decreased since the update, meaning less strain on players' networks and a better experience in-game.

AnimGraph 2 also changed the way character models move, with many finding the movements more consistent and easier to predict. CS2 Kitchen on YouTube has a great video that visualizes the changes from before and after the update.
