Marsborne exit BetBoom RUSH B! Summit Part 2 after one-sided loss to 9z
Marsborne have exited the Brazilian BetBoom RUSH B! Summit Part 2 LAN following a one-sided loss to 9z in the lower bracket, with Marsborne wrapping up their first international LAN with a 1-2 record. Over the course of the team's time in São Paulo, Marsborne fell to Fluxo W7M in their opening series before taking down Marcelo "coldzera" David's squad Fake do Biru to meet 9z in the lower bracket quarterfinals.
The series got off to a rough start for Marsborne as 9z started their map pick, Overpass, on a strong footing as they claimed an early 4-1 lead on their T-side before staying firmly in control to win the half 8-4. After switching sides, Marsborne attempted a comeback on their own T-side with three rounds in a row, any efforts at a comeback were quickly stifled as 9z won the next five rounds to lock down Overpass 13-7.
Unfortunately for Marsborne, things went from bad to worse on Inferno after 9z won the opening pistol round, converting it to a 5-0 lead on their CT-side before Marsborne were able to get a round on a board. This ended up being Marsborne's only round on their map pick as Ignacio "meyern" Meyer led the charge for 9z to win their CT-side 11-1 before taking the map 13-1, running over Marsborne as they clearly struggled to counter the LATAM squad.

With the loss, Marsborne exit BetBoom RUSH B! Summit Part 2 in 5th-6th place, unfortunately falling four positions in the VRS.
Marsborne will be back in business in Brazil in four days as the team are set to compete in the $20,000 Circuit X Pantanal Cuiabá LAN when it kicks off on March 4th.
