JW becomes the first player to register 3,000 maps played on HLTV
Jesper "JW" Wecksell has become the first player to play 3,000 maps on HLTV. JW hit the 3,000 mark in Roman Imperium Cup V in a group stage match v. Gentle Mates.
The Swede's career started in 2011, when he was just 16 years old, spanning the entirety of CS:GO and all of CS2 thus far.
As of now, JW has averaged a 1.03 rating over the course of 3004 maps. The Swedish AWPer has won three Majors at ESL One Cologne 2015, ESL One Katowice 2015, and at DreamHack Winter 2013. He also took home the MVP award at DreamHack Winter 2013.
JW placed in the HLTV top 20 player list three separate times, with his highest placing coming in 2014 where he was ranked fifth. That placing was sandwiched by a tenth-place finish in 2015 and an eighth-place finish in 2013.
