k0nfig reveals Complexity salary: "Unless you give me [30k a month], I'm not signing it"

In an interview for Danish podcast Bootcamp, Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke reveals details about his salaries while under Astralis and Complexity. He claims to have made around $30,000 per month while competing for the American juggernaut, adding that he requested to be paid the same amount as Danish teammate Benjamin "blameF" Bremer.

According to a dust2.dk article recapping this section of the interview, k0nfig said (translated to English), “I remember talking to Jason Lake. He wants me, so he offers me $15,000.”

He goes on, “Then I talk to Benjamin (blameF) and ask ‘what are you getting?’ He gets 30." k0nfig then ups his contract demands accordingly saying, "I'm not going to sign that one. Unless you give me 30, I'm not signing it."

As part of Complexity’s European roster during the COVID era, the duo would win the online BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Finals. Upon leaving Complexity in late 2021, k0nfig claims to have received a similar monthly income from Astralis.
