CS2 was the most watched esport on Twitch in 2025

CS2 was the esport with the highest watch time on Twitch, according to data from Esports Charts. The Valve FPS totaled 370 million hours watched on the livestreaming platform.

Counter-Strike was followed by League of Legends with 310 million hours, fellow Valve product Dota 2 with 213 million hours watched in second, VALORANT in 4th at 185 million hours, and Rainbow Six Siege rounding out the top-5 at 34.76 million hours.

The immense number of hours watched in CS2 can be attributed to its dense schedule, with many different tournament organizers running LAN tournaments that attract large audiences. "Events such as Major championships and premier LAN tournaments consistently delivered some of the strongest viewerships of the year," said Iarfhlaith Dempsey of Esports Charts.
