AMKAL shuts down
Russian organization AMKAL has shut down operations after two years. The organization most recently fielded a team featuring Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov and Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin.
The entire squad was benched earlier in December, and all players are now open to offers from other teams.
Despite mostly featuring in lower-tier European online tournaments, AMKAL had most notably qualified for the PGL Copenhagen Major, which was the first Major Championship held in Counter-Strike 2.
AMKAL have a couple of notable alumni currently plying their trade on different teams, with Danil "molodoy" Golubenko making a name for himself on FURIA and Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov, who played for Virtus.pro in the majority of 2025.
AMKAL most recently fielded this lineup:
-
Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov -
Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin -
Aleksandr "TRAVIS" Timkiv -
Aleksandr "KENSI" Gurkin -
Abdurakhim "mo0N" Issa -
Pavel "PASHANOJ" Legostaev (Coach)
