Report: BC.Game target SAW core after HEROIC deal falls through
Dust2.us and HLTV have learned from multiple sources that BC.Game have expressed interest in acquiring the core of SAW's lineup, with Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes, António "aragornN" Barbosa, and Adones "krazy" Nobre being targeted by the organization to join Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and Denis "electroNic" Sharipov on the team.
Should the acquisition go through, it would see BC.Game part ways with Andreas "aNdu" Maasing while marking the end of a mass shuffle that began with the departures of Aleksandar "CacaNito" Kjulukoski, Nemanja "nexa" Isaković, and Luka "emi" Vuković in recent weeks.
While on the surface the acquisition of SAW's core seems odd, it would immediately accomplish BC.Game's goal of fielding a roster eligible for invites to tier-one events, with SAW currently ranked 22nd in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS). Additionally, while they are not the biggest names in the Counter-Strike world, SAW punched above their weight this year, achieving multiple top-eight finishes including at PGL Bucharest 2025 and FISSURE Playground #1.
BC.Game would also acquire an experienced IGL in the form of MUTiRiS, with the 33-year-old tracing a long career dating back to 2011 while serving as one the godfathers of the Portuguese scene.
krazy and aragornN are also regarded as exciting talents, performing well in their first year in the tier-one scene after being acquired from Rhyno.
BC.Game's targeting of SAW's core comes after being rebuked in their efforts to acquire Astralis' core while HLTV has also confirmed that their efforts to buy HEROIC's core fell through. It also follows reporting by RTP Arena that multiple organizations including 100 Thieves and FlyQuest have also expressed interest in SAW's players.
Should BC.Game acquire SAW's core, they would head into 2026 with:
-
Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev -
Denis "electroNic" Sharipov -
Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes -
António "aragornN" Barbosa -
Adones "krazy" Nobre
