Bigger organizations are circling around SAW's players like vultures

Media: 100 Thieves target SAW players according to Portuguese publication

Could 100 Thieves be following in NIP's footsteps when it comes to acquiring Portuguese talent?

According to a report by Iúri Martins of Portuguese publication RTP Arena, 100 Thieves are interested in acquiring one or more players from Portuguese organization SAW. 100 Thieves' interest in acquiring players from SAW reportedly comes as a number of organizations, including FlyQuest, have expressed interest in buying individual players or even the entire core.

The interest in SAW's players comes after a strong year from the Portuguese organization, with their lineup achieving multiple top-eight finishes despite an ill-fated five-month experiment with an international roster featuring Jan "cej0t" Dyl and Oscar "AZUWU" Bell.

According to the report, FlyQuest are interested in AWPer João "story" Vieira to replace Iulian "regali" Harjău while being unsure on 100 Thieves' priority target. However, knowing that 100 Thieves already have an IGL in the form of Håvard "rain" Nygaard and with Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz seemingly set to join in short order, it seems reasonable to assume that 100T are interested in one or more of António "aragornN" Barbosa, Adones "krazy" Nobre, or André "Ag1l" Gil.

With 100 Thieves also reportedly being interested in Alex "poiii" Nyholm, it is unlikely 100 Thieves will acquire enough players to inherit SAW's core, especially with multiple sources previously telling HLTV the organization are now looking to build a new core.
