
StarLadder apologize for tech issues on day one of the Major: "We know we fell short today"
Following a day one of the StarLadder Budapest Major that was with rife with tech issues, delayed games, and poor stream quality, the tournament have released a statement apologizing for the issues and promising to do better during day two of the event. The statement by StarLadder admits that the Ukrainian company fell short in their first Major in six years, with a promise to work hard to fix the stream, audio, and stability issues.
Throughout the first day of the Major, StarLadder's streams on both Twitch and Kick struggled with significant audio and video issues, leaving fans and the community disappointed in the overall quality of the production. The start of the broadcast notably no casters for an extended period on the Twitch stream while low quality audio and video persisted throughout the day.
Day one of the Major also ran far longer than planned due to numerous tech delays, with M80's second Bo1 of Day One being notably delayed by close to an hour due to an extended tech pause.
With StarLadder surviving day one, all eyes will now be on them to demonstrate an improved show tomorrow.
