Frostfire LAN returns with CS2 among titles

Frostfire LAN has recently announced its return for 2026. The LAN will take place from January 17th to January 18th, 2026, at Carleton University in Ottawa, ON.

CS2 is also coming back after featuring in the 2025 edition of the event, alongside multiple fighting games, VALORANT, and more.

The CS2 portion of the event will begin with a best-of-three double-elimination online qualifier. The qualifier will run over two days, January 10th and 11th. The top four teams will advance to the LAN stage.

The LAN portion of the tournament will be another best-of-three, double-elimination tournament. It is also a BYOC event, and PCs will be available for rent for $15 each.

The registration fees for the event are as follows:

• Early Bird Registration Fee: $35

• Regular Registration Fee: $40

• Late Registration Fee: $45

Early Bird registration closes on November 22nd, with registration closing entirely on January 4th, 2026.
