SportsBetExpert topple Take Flyte to advance to Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4 semifinals
The last quarterfinal matchup in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters, powered by INUI, went down between SportsBetExpert and Take Flyte.
The winner of this match would advance to face Voca in the semifinals, with Marsborne already waiting in the grand final.
SBE elected to start the series on Mirage. Take Flyte began on the favored CT side, but it was SBE who took control early. They held a commanding 8-4 lead after the first half. SBE looked just as confident on defense, only giving up a pair of rounds in the second half to win the first map 13-6.
Take Flyte chose Train as the second map of the series, with SBE starting on defense this time. Take Flyte followed their opponents' script from the first map, taking an 8-4 lead after the first half. Take Flyte quickly made that lead 11-4, putting the match on the brink of a third and deciding map. SBE came back with a fury, though, winning the next nine rounds to steal away Take Flyte's pick, winning the map 13-11 to complete the 2-0 sweep.
Bogdan "ogwizard" Savula was SBE's star man, posting 39 frags with a 1.38 rating.
