Liquid move past BetBoom in PGL Masters Bucharest 2025

siuhy and co. are one win away from the playoffs.

Liquid have bounced back in PGL Masters Bucharest this morning as they defeated BetBoom in the 1-1 pool of the Swiss group stage. Previously, Liquid had won against Legacy and lost to Aurora.

The series between Liquid and BetBoom was a tale of stomps. Liquid dominated the Russian team on Mirage, thanks to a flawless CT-side (6-0) on the second half, in which Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek had tons of impact. The Polish IGL finished that half with an 11-1 K/D, and dropped a ridiculous +26.72% Round Swing and 3.34 rating.

BetBoom, however, struck back with a very dominant win on Nuke, as they had a killer T-side (10-2), and tied the series.

Liquid recovered from that stomp immediately, as they put on a T-side masterclass (10-2) themselves in the first half of Ancient. After following that up with the second pistol, the game was over for BetBoom, and they didn't convert a single round.
