ESL Challenger League Season 50 NA Cup #4: Days 1-4 recap
The fourth and final ESL Challenger League Cup of Season 50 is underway, with the upper semifinals set up. In the upper semifinals, SkinRave will face LAG, and Marsborne are taking on Voca.
In the notable lower bracket matchups, it's BOSS vs. Aether and Mythic in a showdown with True Synergy.
Voca 2-0 Aether
Voca took on Aether in a tough matchup, with the series starting on Aether's Train pick. Voca started with a stellar 9-3 CT side, looking like they would run away with the first map. Aether fought back, bringing the deficit to 11-10, but that was as close as they would get. Voca closed out the first map 13-10 to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Voca chose Mirage, but it was Aether who jumped out to a 5-0 lead, looking very strong in the beginning. However, Voca took the next eleven rounds to take an 11-5 advantage. Aether stabilized, but they couldn't bring it all the way back as Voca squeaked out a 13-11 win to win the series 2-0.
Deni "dea" Ediev took the match by storm, dropping 45 frags and an insane 1.56 rating over the two maps.
