Renegades round out the team list for StarSeries i-League

Renegades and Liquid qualify for StarSeries i-League S4

This headline might seem familiar, but it's a different tournament. Honest.

After three days of action in the closed qualifier, the final two teams set to be jetting off to the StarSeries i-League Season Four event were confirmed. From North America the same four teams were found in the final matches as in the qualifier for IEM Katowice which just transpired.

It took Liquid just two extremely quick maps to book their spot in Kiev over Luminosity, as the American side dispatched their opponents without breaking much of a sweat. Incredible leads at halftime on both Train and Mirage made it an easy game for Liquid, a much different tale of events compared to the three map thriller they had against compLexity in the first round.

The second team through to Kiev was Renegades, with the Australians similarly taking only two maps to go through. The first map, Cache, was an extremely close game overall but was incredibly one sided in each half. NRG were 12-3 up at the half time, but a 13-2 second half saw Renegades take the map. Inferno was a completely different story, as a strong first half remained through to the second half with a 16-2 win.
