Wildcard 2-1 Getting Info
Wildcard defeated Getting Info in three maps, rallying back from a 13-10 loss on Train with a 13-7 win on Overpass and a 13-5 win on Dust II. Josh "JBa" Barutt's 24-11 performance on Overpass was the key difference in the second map, while Maciej "F1KU" Miklas popped off on Dust II.
As winners of the second cup in ECL NA S50, Wildcard have already secured a spot in the Regional Final. But they're now two wins away from taking a huge advantage.
Winning two cups will reduce the number of Regional Final teams to three, and give Wildcard a direct spot in the grand final. ESL revealed today that Wildcard are not amongst the teams competing in Cup #4, but had they competed and won a third cup, they'd also get a map advantage in the Regional Final grand final against NRG.
Down in Oceania, SemperFi Esports have won the first three cups in ECL S50, and if they manage to claim all four, there will be no Regional Final, and they will qualify directly to ESL Pro League.
ECL S50 NA Cup #3 continues today, October 17th, with the upper final:
