Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4 Day 2 recap: Shimmer, Take Flyte win opening matchups
The first round of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4 is now complete, with Shimmer taking down Nocturnal and Take Flyte defeating InControl.
The second round begins tonight, with a quick turnaround for Shimmer as they are back in action this evening.
Shimmer 2-0 Nocturnal
Shimmer chose to start the series off with Dust2 and got down to business immediately. A 10-2 CT side was easily converted into a 13-2 win for Shimmer to take a 1-0 series lead.
Nocturnal's map pick was Ancient, but it was Shimmer who got off to a 10-2 lead once again. Nocturnal secured four rounds in the second half, but it mattered for little as Shimmer won comfortably 13-6.

Take Flyte 2-1 
InControl
InControl picked Nuke, but fell behind early on as Take Flyte took an 8-4 lead on the CT side. InControl remained composed, though, and answered back with a 9-3 second half to take the first map 13-11.
Take Flyte picked Overpass to try to level the series, starting off with an 8-4 lead. InControl mirrored Take Flyte's first half to force overtime. Two overtime periods were needed, but Take Flyte tied the series at 1-1.
Mirage was the deciding map, where both sides grappled for control in the first half. Neither side could eek out an advantage, as the score was tied at 6-6 after the first period. Take Flyte took control on the CT side, only surrendering three rounds in the second half to win the map and series thanks to a 13-7 win.
