NIP and 500 confirm exit from Fragadelphia Blocktober due to visa issues

Ninjas in Pyjamas confirmed publicly today their decision to forfeit their position in Fragadelphia Blocktober while 500 also confirmed to Dust2.us that they would be exiting the tournament. For both teams, visa issues seem to be the main sticking point as NIP confirmed Artem "r1nkle" Moroz would be unable to attend the event due to visa issues while 500 player Sebastian "volt" Maloș told Dust2.us they were unable to secure visas for their Bulgarian players.

The withdrawal of the two teams due to visa issues is unfortunate especially for NIP who have now been unable to bring r1nkle to two NA events in a row despite his visa being accepted for Fragadelphia x LVL UP EXPO 2025 earlier in the year.

NIP also referenced the need to defend their VRS points which is understandable after a hard-fought season netted the team a Major spot.

NIP and 500's withdrawal from the event as it follows multiple teams exiting the event due to a mixture of illness, cost, and VRS considerations.

Fragadelphia Blocktober will kick off tonight at 06:00PM.
