Passion UA survive at DraculaN Season 2
Passion UA bounced back from their loss to Basement Boys in the upper semifinal with two victories today in the lower bracket.
Both matches were three-map thrillers against GenOne and Zero Tenacity, where the round difference in each map never exceeded three.

GenOne
Passion UA's first series didn't get off to the ideal start, as GenOne took a 9-3 lead to begin the first half on Ancient. However, Passion brought it all the way back, winning five of the final six rounds of the map to force overtime. The former Complexity squad held onto their momentum in overtime, winning the first map 19-16.
Inferno was back-and-forth, with Passion UA taking a slight 7-5 lead into the second half. GenOne's impressive T side netted them the victory, as they eeked out a 13-11 win to force a third map.
Passion UA got off to a hot start on Dust2, taking an 8-4 lead into halftime. GenOne kept the game competitive, but trading rounds favored Passion in the end, as they took the decisive map 13-10 to advance to the next round.
Michael "Grim" Wince was the standout player for Passion UA, as he tallied a match-high 65 frags and a 1.31 rating in the match.

Zero Tenacity
Passion UA fell behind early again in the first half, as Zero Tenacity led 9-3 after the first half. Passion wanted to replicate their antics from the GenOne game, but fell just short, losing 13-11 on Train.
Passion UA looked to turn the tables on Dust2, starting off with a solid 8-4 lead after the first period of play. Although Zero Tenacity reduced their defecit to one round, they never evened the game, losing 13-10 and leaving the match to the deciding map of Nuke.
Both teams exchanged streaks of rounds on the final map, with Passion UA ending regulation with a three-round flurry to force overtime. After three overtime periods, Passion UA squeaked out the 22-19 win to book their place in the consolidation final.
This time around, it was Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli and Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol who led the international squad to victory, with the former posting a 1.3 rating and the latter logging 74 frags in the three-map series.
