CLG Red and silhouette to Intel Challenge Katowice North America final
The North American online qualifier for the Intel Challenge Katowice 2018 began Tuesday night, with the bulk of the matches already having been played.
It began with six of the top female teams duking it out in a BO1 single-elimination bracket, with CLG Red and silhouette receiving byes in the first round. Team X, led by Stephanie "missharvey" Harvey and featuring other former CLG Red and Dignitas fe players, quickly dispatched of Kalopsia. Meanwhile, in the second half of the bracket, Constant Rage FE took down 5 Girls Have No Names to advance to semifinals as well.
CLG Red met their former compadres of Team X in the next stage of the bracket where they narrowly edged their way into the finals after their all-star clash. silhouette went on win their BO1 against Constant Rage FE in their semifinal match, securing their place in the finals alongside CLG Red.
Due to the WESG Regional Finals taking place, the two remaining teams are set to wrap up the qualifier Monday February 5th in a BO3 match to decide who will represent North America in Katowice.
