BLAST announces Rotterdam as host for BLAST Open 2026 Season 1

Rotterdam, NL, will be the host of the first Season of BLAST Open in 2026. This will be the first event that BLAST has hosted in the Netherlands.

The first portion of the event will take place in BLAST's studio headquarters in Copenhagen. The teams will then move to Rotterdam for the playoff stage of the tournament.

This event will take place entirely on LAN, in contrast to the current BLAST Open London, which started with an online group stage before the LAN playoffs.

Sixteen teams will be at the event, with twelve being invited and four entering via online qualifiers. Six teams will make the playoffs in the Netherlands, which will be held at the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam.

The event is scheduled to run from March 16th to March 29th, 2026.
