Snax eyes his next opportunity

Snax enters free agency after G2 exit

What's next for the veteran?

G2 Esports and Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski have parted ways following the former Major winner's one-month stint on the team's bench.

Snax was relieved of his calling and playing duties earlier in the summer following a string of lackluster results, though he can hardly be blamed for all of G2's shortcomings. After winning BLAST Premier Fall and the BLAST World Finals, G2 saw a mass exodus of firepower, with both Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and later Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov leaving for Falcons.

Of the members of the legendary Virtus.pro roster that won the EMS One Katowice 2014 Major and competed together at the highest level of CS:GO in the mid 2010s, Snax was the only one still playing at the highest level as of 2025. Filip "NEO" Kubski has coached FaZe for two years, while Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas coached G2 (and his former teammate Snax) throughout 2024 and the first half of 2025.

Snax, who's only 32 (I'm also 32 so I consider that young) now enters the free agency market. G2 meanwhile look to continue to improve with their summer additions in Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia, Matúš "matys" Šimko, and coach Eetu "sAw" Saha. They face Liquid in the first round of Group B at BLAST Open Fall in London on August 28th.
