M80 qualify for ESL Pro League Season 22 over Getting Info

M80 won the ESL Pro League Season 22 North America Closed Qualifier after taking down Getting Info in the finals yesterday, July 14th. That result sees the squad led by Elias "s1n" Stein qualify once again for the prestigious CS2 league.

There were lots of expectations for this matchup, as Getting Info defeated M80 early in the tournament, sending them to the lower bracket. However, M80 got their revenge after they eliminated Marsborne in the consolidation final.

The veto was nearly identical, but this time around, Getting Info picked Ancient rather than Mirage. M80 won Ancient thanks to their T-side in the second half as Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich put up a 13-4 K/D difference.

Then, the teams played Dust2 again, and M80 gave no chance to Getting Info. They had a powerful T-side in the first half (9-3), and quickly closed out the game in the second half. Everyone on M80 did their part, but Michael "Swisher" Schmid and Mason "Lake" Sanderson led the charges with 18 kills each.
