NIP win Fragadelphia x LVL UP EXPO Vegas convincingly

NRG were the only team that put up a good fight versus NIP.

Ninjas in Pyjamas lifted the Fragadelphia x LVL UP EXPO Vegas trophy last night, April 27th, after sweeping Sharks in the grand finals.

Truth be told, NIP were a step ahead of the other competitors, breezing past every team they faced, except for NRG in the semifinals.

The NIP team annihilated both Ratajkowski FC (13-1 and 13-3) and Revel (13-0 and 13-2) in the group stage of Fragadelphia Vegas, and they carried the good form to the playoffs.

NIP made quick work of Vagrants (13-4 and 13-0) and LFO 4 (13-3 and 13-6) en route to the semifinals. Not only did NRG force the third map, which any other team couldn't do, but Train was decided only in triple overtime.

However, NIP had Artem "r1nkle" Moroz getting frags left and right with the AWP, and they prevailed in that third overtime.

There were questions whether NIP would feel tired in the best-of-five grand final against Shark, but they denied that pretty fast. They were much more prepared for that match and rapidly won the finals by 3-0 after blowouts on Nuke and Ancient.

r1nkle had a good performance again (54 kills, 1.64 rating), but Rasmus "sjuush" Beck performed even better (58 kills, 1.67 rating). Though winning Frag doesn't sound like much, NIP will earn precious VRS points because of it, which will help them down the road.
