Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 1 Day 8 Recap - LOBOARMY survive MIGHT fightback
Day eight of Dust2.us Eagle Masters S1 action has gone down, with four teams competing to stay in contention for the playoffs.
LOBOARMY eliminated MIGHT, and BLUEJAYS saw off Supernova Comets to stay in the playoff hunt.

MIGHT
MIGHT and LOBOARMY slugged it out in a marathon match to battle for their lives in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 1. The series began on Ancient, where neither team gave the other an inch. Both sides traded 7-5 halves on their CT sides before overtime, where LOBOARMY outlasted MIGHT to win 22-20. MIGHT rebounded on the second map to steal the Peruvian side's pick of Ancient 13-5 to level the series at 1-1. LOBOARMY took the momentum back and started 10-2 up on Train to put the series all but past MIGHT. However, the Americans stormed back from 12-2 down to 12-9, before eventually falling just short and losing 13-9. Rodrigo "Antuanette" Armando led the way for LOBOARMY with 68 frags over the three maps, including 40 on the first map alone.

BLUEJAYS breezed past Supernova Comets to keep their chances at playoff qualification alive. BLUEJAYS began the series by winning 13-4 on Ancient, powered by Wyatt "snav" Phillippi's 18 frags. It was Groundhog Day all over again on the second map, with the setting being Nuke this time. BLUEJAYS beat the top ESL Impact League team by a score of 13-4, with snav again leading the way for the American side with 18 kills.
